i’m back!
just to recap this past month…
to be honest, i’ve gained a few pounds. nothing too major and when i went to the doctor i found i’m still within normal, but i’ve noticed my body changing. it’s probably because i just started birth control two months ago, but i still want to lose this weight!
starting tomorrow, expect consistent uploading, progress pictures, and food logs :)
happy losing!
It feels a little unreachable, doesn’t it? Sometimes it feels like there is just no way in hell you are going to lose that weight. That voice telling you that you are stuck like this, whatever this may be.
Well, first of all, that voice is a two-faced, lying skank that sucks dick on a bulk discount rate.
Second, the key to everything, the holy fucking grail, is knowing what you’re doing, and sticking to it.
Do some research (research is key). Figure out what your proper intake is. Learn what a pound is, exactly (3500 calories), and then learn just how to lose that pound. If you create a 500 calorie deficit daily, you will lose a pound a week. Learn the difference between basic intake and net intake (and understand that the net intake is the one to watch).
And once you know how much you need to eat daily, the next step is to figure out how much of what you’re going to be eating. Figure out what constitutes a balanced diet. And then go a little crazy.
Give your carbs a makeover. Go to the store and pick out five things you wouldn’t have dreamed of eating. Try them. All of them. Decide what you like and incorporate it. Eat weird things and health food and really obscenely healthy food.
The most important thing, though, is sticking to it. Now that you’re all educated and ready to take on the world, you need to adhere to your plan.
Stay with your plan, on the days when the results are oh-so evident and on the days when you feel like nothing’s changed at all. Learn it and live it and one day, trust me, you’ll love yourself, too.
:)
